Very comfortable futon, clean room, clean shared facilities. Loved the common living room!! very helpful staff, nice bentos, relaxing onsens.

Nice guesthouse with three private onsens to get relaxed after a Kumano Kodo hike.

Over 60 countries more than 300 cities i can say this is one of the top three hostels i've ever stayed. - everything is well organized - very clean - comfortable sleeping capsul (not a regular bunk) - a spacious kitchen with everything you need - nice and helpful staff - good facilities with reasonable prices - plus three onsens for relaxing

I was reluctant to stay in a dorm with mixed and 8 - but it worked really well! The bunks were capsules and you had enough privacy - the other people in the large room were hardly noticed. The facilities are so nice, big community room like in a japanese family with lovely furniture, clean kitchen where respect was shown by cleaning and clearing your stuff away immediately. the three onsens were privately usable and so relaxing after walking all day.

Very nice place to discover, after hiking Kumano Kodo relaxing in their private onsen was lovely. The staff is super helpfull, my brother and I really recommend this place !

The staff really makes their best to make the stay comfy and a lovely place you want to be. You have the character of an old building but the furniture and equipment are new. Its is very practical because they rent basic food, and propose free rice in the morning and in the evening. The private rooms are relatively large and very charming. Last but not least, by staying here, you will benefit from 3 private onsens.
