Amazing staff, very clean and very comfortable. Staff is highly professional. They have even put an item we forgot in the room inside luggage we have asked them to send. The Ryokan is very close to the Itsukushima Shrine and the Momijidani Ropeway. So its very convenient to visit the Shrine at 6.30, return for breakfast and then head to the ropeway which begins service by 9.00. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, especially the vegetarian meal. It is a short walk away from the ferry terminal, but the Ryokan offers a shuttle service for pick-up and drop.

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier.

Everything, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the location is amazing, a 3 minute walk from the ferry, right on the Main Street. Our hotel room had an incredible view where you could see the floating Torii from the room, and the whole bay. The dinner was supper delicious and the Japanese breakfast too. The outdoor baths (onsen) on the roof was incredible, as you can see the whole bat and the torii. The only shame is we didn’t stay longer.

Renewed in 2013, Sakuraya offers affordable Japanese-style rooms with mountain or sea views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 3-minute walk away.

I love this place, was a different night in Japan, sleeping in a traditional room. The room and the place was very quiet, comfortable and clean. The personal service was very kind with us. We enjoyed so much the traditional Japanese breakfast. I totally recommended stay at least one night here.

We love the Miyajima guest house, the staff was super friendly, the location was great, the common areas were beautiful! We also really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. Overall the only negative was that we only stayed one night, would love to come back and stay at least two nights in the future. ❤️

I arranged a special surprise with the hotel to propose to my girlfriend, initially disguised as a birthday gift with a room upgrade and room service dinner. This review is thus not representative for the room linked to this booking. However, I want to specifically praise the hotel staff, with a specific shout-out to Katagiri. They went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience and I cannot thank them enough! The view from the seaside rooms is amazing and the beds are very comfy, the traditional dinner is on point and the staff is just wonderful.

Very cozy and private hotel. The rooms are very basic but have its Japanese charm and we felt really comfortable. Beds are super comfortable.location is so nice ,directly in the park. Very relaxing and calm. Personnel is very friendly and you feel like home.

Fantastic location right next to the Rooney to get up the top of Mt Misen. Very authentic and truely lovely. We stayed for one night and throughly enjoyed the island
