The location was really cool, on a hill, but wasn't that far a walk from the train station. It was nice to wake up in the morning and watch the sunrise from the big windows. The history of the property was nice as well, it was a unique place to stay. The shower was great too.

Opened in April 2014, Vessel Inn Fukuyama Station is ideally located just a 1-minute walk from JR Fukuyama Station. Free WiFi is available in all areas.

The castle is the best in the entire area after having tried the other hotels. Bed is very comfy and the staff are all very nice and helpful. They have a nice welcome drink service near the front desk after 2:00 p.m. don't forget to try it out. Even though the windows are not large but the position on the entire area of the castle the walls and the gardens is magnificent and it is a great pleasure to see it from the room. They have many additional amenities that you can photo for free on request. Very close to the shinkansen station will definitely stay here again when coming to this wonderful town.

Candeo Hotels Fukuyama is located a 15-minute walk from JR Fukuyama Station. The hotel features flat-screen TVs, free internet access and a rooftop public bath.

The hotel room was spacious and really comfortable. We took the breakfast option and found a really rich japanese-style buffet with lots of options. In addition, the customer service was unbeatable. We left something at our room after check out and they personally contacted us so that we wouldn’t leave any belongings behind! Really kind staff, comfortable bed and a great breakfast

Anago-no-Nedoko is a very cozy and atmospheric guesthouse. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed exploring every corner of this marvellous house. The people working there were super kind and helpful. The breakfast was super tasty and we got a dry spot to store our bicycles. Big recommendation for everyone visiting Onomichi!

There is so much to like about this hotel. The staff are very friendly - they went above and beyond multiple times, the hotel is old and quirky - my bed was also an old radio?, the restaurant is delicious thai food, and of course the views are exceptional. Sunrise from the room was a treat. A 10 min walk uphill to the ropeway to the town and a park walk to the cliffside temple. It was great for my husband biking the islands and bridges and great for me. Definitely taxi there with your luggage. It is on a steep hill. I loved my stay and would stay again.
