The location was perfect. Nice beach, the famous Torii next door. Cafes, Konbinis and a few restaurants in walking distance. Shuttle Bus to Shimoda City was very convenient. Staff is amazing, very helpful and friendly and (almost) all speak english. The Onsen was great too. Breakfast Buffet very sufficient. We had also dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent. We liked the playroom and the Cafeteria. The room was spacious. The hotel is not new, here and there a bit worn down. But everything is very clean. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We loved to stay there! We didnt travel with a dog, but it seems the hotel is very dog friendly too. which we like a lot.

The hotel is very well located and has a very efficient shuttle service from the Kawazu station: we were able to use it to drop our luggages in our room and go back to explore the Kawazu cherry blossom festival! The room is beautiful sea view. Public bath are very pleasant. All the hotel is adapted to children (welcome kits, high chairs, playing area, even the public baths are well equiped for them!). The staff is really nice and helpful. Thank you for this nice stay :)

One of our favorite hotel if you like to experience an outdoor onsen with crashing waves and great sunset sea view. You can reserve an onsen for private use (only once per night stay, unfortunately). We also found the kaiseki means of excellent quality. I understand some guests did complain about the structural integrity and conditions of the building and rooms, especially the molds and the handrails down to the open-air onsen. However, I did not find this an issue during this visit and was very satisfied with the wooden handrails provided. Unless you have major sinus issues, do not miss this hotel if you need a stop at the Dagoshima area.

The food was probably the best I had in my life. The private onsens were beautiful and relaxing. The room was so spacious and had lots of toiletries and amenities.

We stayed 2 nights in a beautiful room with sea view. All the facilities are modern and clean. Very spacious building. Infinity pool. You book a slot for private Onsen looking over the sea. Absolutely beautiful. We rent an E-bikes ¥1000 per day to get around the beautiful town. Staffs were so helpful, they couldn’t do enough for us. We wish we stayed longer!
