This place was amazing! The location is great—tucked up on a hill, so you’ll need a car or tuk-tuk to get around easily. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly attentive and kind. The room has a fridge which is nice. The only small downside was that the shower could use a bit more water pressure. But the real highlight is the breathtaking view—truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!

We stayed three nights at The One Ella and it was a very pleasant experience. Dom, the owner, is a really nice guy and he really puts his pride in making the place look nice and giving his guests a wonderful and comfortable stay. He is very attentive and will make sure that everything is according to your wishes. He and his friendly staff made sure that breakfast every morning was according to our preferences and would be a great start to our day. And it really was. Sitting in the morning and evenings on the terrace and relaxing in the hammock was just as nice as we expected. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable and it’s hard to see how booking one of Dom’s rooms could be a failure. The location is also great, close to the Ravana Zip Line and Little Adams Peak. A perfect place to start some nice walks and have some exiting experiences.. Dom’s brother runs the place next door called Chill Out Cafe and serves some really good food - we ended up having dinner there two of our three days in Ella.

Our Super View room was comfortable and clean, and the view was indeed super, but what really made our stay special was Renuka and his family. He took us to see the sights, was our guide to the waterfall, and picked us up in his tuktuk whenever we needed, so we had a very action packed time yet relaxing time in Ella. The breakfast was also delicious, especially the coconut and honey pancakes.

Beautiful view, got the top floor place, even though we were 2, was outstanding. The family is so accommodating and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic!

We are sure these were the most kindest hosts we had so far! Imantha and his farther took care of everything as if we were family members. Very responsive & warm-hearted people. Views were astonishing in the morning we woke up, could not take my eyes off the mountains since 6am. nature is such a healer. By the way, the bed and the linnen was the most comfortable!!! and the breakfast..! authentic & made with love - what more we could wish for!!… just a lovely stay while in Ella !
