Amazing view! Conveniently located close to the main street, but still felt serene and quiet. I would recommend staying at least 3 nights so you’d also have time to just enjoy the comfort of the accommodation with its beautiful views of the mountain and wildlife. Having a mini fridge in the room was a great touch! The hosts were very kind and helpful, even dropped me off at the bus station after checking out, as the uphill road to leave the accommodation is quite steep.

It was a very nice and cozy family to stay with. The location is amazing! It’s within walking distance of the center, or the owner is happy to take you there with his tuk-tuk. You have a view of the waterfall and a beautiful landscape, yet you’re still close to the center. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka extensive, local, and incredibly delicious. We highly recommend this place to everyone. Don’t hesitate!

Fantastic welcome and helpful throughout our stay. Incredibly located with stunning views from the balcony over the mountains, valleys and bit outside of hustle bustle city centre. Great room with everything that is required including great wifi, power socket by the bed, tea/coffee making. Wonderful breakfast. It was great sitting on the huge balcony and watching the scenery, even raining while we were in Ella,. You will be asked what time you prefer breakfast and it’s served on your private balcony. Everything was simply brilliant! We would have stay longer without a doubt. Unfortunately time was crossed :( .If we ever return to ella, definitely we will stay here!. 10/10 property :)).

We arrived in the dark after our train was delayed. The host was most welcoming, and there were cold beers in the fridge! In the morning, we woke up to the most stunning views and the sounds of a distant waterfall. Our host arranged our visit to the tea plantation, then a driver (at reasonable cost) to our next destination. This was a great place to stay, not least because we enjoyed the best breakfast of our entire trip to Sri Lanka here - eggs, freshly prepared fruit, and Sri Lankan fare. Delicious! It was a pity we were only here for one night.

The view was amazing and it was so peaceful. And the breakfast served up by Mali was amazing - loved the "appas" (hoppers) very much and the selection of fruits. Mali and Ari are excellent hosts.
