There aren't enough words to say for how amazing the hospitality was at Super View! From the moment we arrived at Ella train station to our departure, we were treated with such kindness, and the host family bent over backwards to make our stay seamless. Not once did we have to ask for something- everything was anticipated and provided. The breakfast each morning was wonderful. Renuka offered to pick us up from town when it was late, drove us to the bus on departure, and refused to let us tip him. I think Ella town is a bit commercialized, so if you want to see nature and be greeted with true Sri Lankan hospitality, this is the place.

We spend 5 nights in accommodation - owner and his family are really nice and polite people, they welcomed us with cold fresh welcome drink and clean room. I have quite enjoyed this room as is really big, comfortable beds (with mosquito covers) and nice warm duvets. Also at room are all the basic requirements you need - travel reduction for charging, tea + sugar, you can get milk for your tea if you ask during day. Room is quite comfortable and well equipped. Nice view from balcony - you can watch about 20 different types of birds, chipmunks and many other creatures. We had 2 small kids with us - whole stay was family friendly. Owners wife and daughter were so nice to us - they gave us splendid service during whole stay, served us AMAZING breakfast. We had two portions of breakfast but it was enough for 4 of us - we took some pancakes and fruit from breakfast with us and eat it during day. Make sure that you have a breakfast every day - its really worth it (6 USD), great value for money. Also coffee served during stay was really good - best coffee I had during 3 weeks trip was here! Lady of the house also gave us good tips for trips around Ella and arranged transport for us - make sure that you sort all transport (Tuk tuk, Taxi, Local trips) with her, as they gave us reasonable prices, much less than local tuk tuk drivers and you can avoid hustle with them and overcharging. Thanks to lady, we saved about 50 USD this way. Accommodation is on steepy hill, as almost every other in Ella, its 7 min walk to shop, 10 min to centre of Ella. At the bottom of the hill - you can find tea shop with best prices in Ella, don't buy anything in tea factory, buy tea there. Its called Ranra Tea lounge. Also in close distance - there is Obey laundry where you can do laundry. I would like to highly recommend this accommodation - its local family, really heartfull and welcoming people, they will work hard to make sure that you get nice service and breakfast was outstanding

We had a wonderful stay in Guest Inn Avendra and wouldn't think twice about returning. The cabin provided the perfect vibes for cozying up during evenings in Ella and the views definitely didn't disappoint. You can watch the sunrise from the room and we even had some rainbows!! The place is run by the sweetest family and the delicious food is prepared by the mother. The breakfasts were an assortment of local fruits and different local dishes to try each day along with eggs toasts etc. Everything we had was delicious. Something that sets Guest Inn Avendra apart is how Imantha ( the son running the place) goes above and beyond to make your experience in Ella the best he can. From taking you around in his tuk tuk, to recommendations for anything in Ella he is your man. He is always happy to be contacted and will answer any questions you have. When dropping us off at the end of our stay he even went to confirm everything and print our tickets from the counter. He provides personalized services that other places would charge for and we couldn't have asked for a better host.

The owner, Janith, was very polite, friendly, and helpful. When I arrived at the hotel, I was a little stressed because my money had been stolen. The owner and his wife’s warm smiles immediately made me feel relaxed. Although I had booked a standard room, they kindly gave me a free upgrade to a larger room with an amazing view. I truly enjoyed my 2-day stay, especially spending time on the balcony. Thank you so much for your kindness!

Amazing homestay with most beautiful views from terrace. You wake up with sounds of waterfall and birds. Everything is clean. Hosts are very nice and welcoming. They also have laundry washing and they did it better then any laundry service we know. Breakfast is very tasty and fresh. Thank you! ♥️

Loved this place, clean and super friendly with an amazing view. The owner gave us lots of information and took us his friends local restaurant near by which was also excellent. Would definitely return.
