The staff were very friendly especially Saranga, he couldn't do enough. The breakfast was to a very high standard Brilliant location.

Beautiful hotel inside Galle Fort. The service provided by the staff is perfect and the breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and spacious, facing the pool. A very relaxing and comfortable stay, totally recommended.

The location, the design, the atmosphere, the staff, the food and the bar! Oh and the swimming pool:-)

The villa is absolutely stunning! That is not even to the mention the incredible hospitality of the host and her team, and the delicious brunch in the morning! We felt very spoiled!

Nice breakfast, and good coffee. Best service we've ever had! Such nice staff, helping us with activities, transport and laundry. Nice with "room service" twice a day. Clean rooms, nice with new towels and robes. we loved it.

My one-week stay at Niyagama House was fabulous with the high standards the facility offers, the green with all those bird sounds in the morning mesmerized me. It was also so relaxing for my body and soul doing meditation & yoga with Elke every day, nourishing myself with the great food from the restaurant. I am looking forward to visiting that 'paradise on earth' again.

Beautifully renovated historic building, in the heart of Galle Fort, with amazing views over the ocean and fort walls. Unique rooms, and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.

Galle Fort, this guesthouse, its residents and smiling monk that we met after arriving left most warm and unforgettable memories of Sri Lanka! Very nice and helpful host and his family. We stay here for 2 days/nights, checked-in early in the morning about 9 a.m. (maybe we were lucky). We arrived straight from the airport and were treated with tea and coffee and literally within half an hour we were able to leave our stuff in the room and go to explore the neighborhood. In the evening we talked with the owner and his family. Very good people! Got a lot of information about the life of Lankans, the island, fort, life on the island and so on. Meals. Best breakfast out of 5 stops in Sri Lanka. Breakfast in the National style, but in European adaptation. Everything was tasty, aesthetically pleasing and beautiful. Special thanks for hot sandwiches for night-breakfast on the day we left for our excursion at 3am! They were hot and freshly made in the middle of the night! About the room. The room was taken with a balcony, from where you have a good view of the elements of the fort, the horizon and the sea, a small Buddhist temple. You can see lush greenery, blooming frangipani, chipmunks running on the roofs, monkeys and birds in the trees. The room is decorated in traditional style - wood and asceticism. The baldachine is very useful when staying on an island to avoid unnecessary mosquito bites. The mattress and pillows were the most comfortable in our entire island trip (we stopped in 5 hotels/guesthouses in Sri Lanka) One small minus of the room - dark bathroom and poor water retention inside the shower curtain. As a result wet floor in WC. Better to fix this point, but it's not a big deal. Location. If you want to see Galle Fort, the location is good. Quiet street, Buddha temple = meditation center, sites of the fort are nearby. A great smiling monk created our mood for the whole stay in Galle and hole Lanka.
