Clean and spacious room with a huge patio. Mr.Sanjeewa was very helpful and willing to help at anytime. Our rooms got a very nice and relaxing view. Breakfast was very good. This place is set just atop the city of Kandy. An easy 8 minutes ride to the city centre, but without all the hustle and bustle. Sit on the balcony, and byo your own bottle of wine. The two young lads staffing the home are absolutely awesome. They are respectful of your privacy, but always helpful and kind. Those two lads made it a really really exceptional stay for us. Delicious authentic breakfast, clean rooms, great view, and peaceful.

Green View Holiday Resort has a variety of rooms, each with its own private bathroom. Free WiFi is available in the resort’s common areas. Facilities include an outdoor pool and restaurant.

I had a great stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious, and I really appreciated the free refillable water, the lovely pool, and that both the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. There’s also a laundry service available. The location is very quiet and peaceful—just a bit further from the city center, but definitely worth it for the relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

We loved everything about this place. The location was perfect, in the hills with exceptional views but only a 10-15 minute tuk tuk ride from Kandy city. The food was exceptional, with breakfast served outside in the garden and dinner inside the old manor. The service is like no other. The best I have ever experienced. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very spacious with all the amenities. We loved spending time in the infinity pool with the most magnificent views over the hills including the most beautiful gardens and birds. However, what made this place so special were the staff. Everyone (especially Chula) were so warm, welcoming and had the biggest genuine smiles on their faces. Nothing was too much for them, including arranging drivers, day tours and delivering coconuts after us spotting locals climbing coconut trees. Chamilla the driver took us on an amazing tour which included the botanical gardens, gem factory, dance show and to a dosa place in the city (Balaji Dosai - highly recommend). We had the best time and couldn’t recommend this place enough.

It was such an amazing house and experience. Anand and his wife were so welcoming and treated us like their family. We had the run of the house and could use the kitchen when we wanted tea etc. Gorgeous spacious rooms with balconies and views over the trees. It was way up in the forests with such clean fresh air. Ravi the tuk tuk driver was great for hiring for trips. He was very knowledgeable and well known and liked in town. Food was delicious and home cooked. They couldn't do wnough for us. Felt sad to leave. Anand even drove us to the station at 4am just because he wanted to! Highly recommend for a lovely Sri lankan home experience. Thank you so much!

We had a truly relaxing and memorable time at Samindra Villa. We stayed in the Garden View Room, which was peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. The view from the villa is absolutely stunning — lush greenery all around, making it a perfect getaway spot. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious rice and curry meals — authentic, full of flavor, and made with so much love. You can really taste the difference. The Wi-Fi connection was strong throughout our stay, which was great for staying connected when needed. Overall, Samindra Villa felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic experience!

We had a lovely stay at Marvel Hills. It’s close to town, the station and there are a couple of restaurants a 3 minute walk up the hill. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner was very welcoming to his home and approachable when we needed to reach out. He immediately sorted out an issue in the room at 9pm and even gave us a lift to the station the next day. We would definitely stay here again
