What a wonderful place! There is a lot of areas for lounging. I spent some time in the hammock relaxing. It’s super close to both the rock and the mountain for the main two hikes in sigiriya. Also, the host is the sweetest lady and she helped me arrange my train to my next city to make sure I got an actual seat because it was going to be super busy with the holiday. She also sent me on my way with a bunch of mangos from her tree, and it was just overall a great experience. She even took me to the kitchen and taught me some things about how to make kotu. The dog is great too! Had a wonderful time and the food is great cuz she also has a restaurant!

Warm welcome from Dinesh and his family, greeted with a drink. We felt at home ! Excellent location, quiet, on the edge of the jungle, with a marvellous garden. Clean and nice rooms. Hearty, generous and varied breakfast. Very good homemade fruit cocktails. We highly recommend the meal dinner. You will understand, we highly recommend !

We stayed for two nights and had a truly wonderful experience. The family welcomed us with incredible warmth and hospitality, making us feel completely at home from the very beginning. The room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. Their son, Chamee, kindly took us to visit both Pidurangala and Sigiriya — it was an unforgettable experience, perfectly organized. We also had the chance to join a fantastic cooking class with Kumani - the mother -, where we learned a lot and had so much fun. Everything was simply perfect. Highly recommended — thank you for making our stay so special!
