We received a very warm welcome and got a detailed explanation of the room right away. Breakfast was excellent – especially the fact that you can get an egg cooked exactly the way you like every day. The location is decent for Defqon, and Zwolle train station is super easy to reach. The hotel is located right by the shopping street, which is perfect for grabbing a snack or doing some shopping. We also really enjoyed the beautiful koi pond in the garden, which we admired every day because we love fish. Highly recommended for Defqon visitors! Definitely use the taxi driver recommended by the host – that was a real insider tip!

The hotel has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere surrounded by beautiful woodland. It really feels like a peaceful retreat.. Our room was clean, cosy and full of character with a lovely view of the gardens. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh options and a lovely setting overlooking the gardens. Even though we only stayed one night, it was a memorable experience, the kind of place that makes you want to come back for a longer stay next time.
