Amazing view. Unique location. The hotel told us we could use whatever was in the fridge. We were suprised to see a bottle of wine , 2 beers and 2 waters waiting for us in there. .

The Strandhotel is a small family hotel directly facing the beach. The cosy dining room with sea view is a wonderful way to start your day with a nice breakfast.

From the moment we arrived we felt like we were taken care of in the best possible way. We arrived early so we had to leave our luggage and wait for our room to be ready, which was no problem at all, we then sat down in the lounge for a drink, and the waiter was the nicest - we felt so at home right a way! When we got our room it exceeded our expectations with great views, a huge comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Loved it! We also got a bottle of Cava on the house because me and my boyfriend were celebrating our 3 years anniversary! Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer, can't wait to come back and try the spa and the gym. Tip! Forget about expensive hotels in Amsterdam, go to Hotel des Indes instead!

Everything was exceptional! We arrived and the hotel had parking on the premises. The hotel is beautiful and has a stunning large garden. The room was renovated with a more modern feel but original parts of the structure were preserved e.g large wooden beams which really gave the hotel character. We had a beautiful view over a lake. The staff provided the best customer service I have experienced in my whole life. Everything from greeting us on arrival to serving the food. We celebrated our civil ceremony at this hotel and the private dining room was stunning and perfect for the occasion. The food was incredible and one member of our party said it was the best meal he had in his entire life. It was truly an experience. We had a champagne reception and a 5 course taster menu - everything was exceptional. The wine was also incredible. The real star of the show though was our server who was so attentive. The breakfast the next morning was also incredible. I would really recommend to treat your self to the bigegr selection option. We were all blown away. We couldnt recommend this place more and we will definitely come back. We now recommend this place to everyone we know.

Perfect stay in the heart of the shopping area in Den haag. The apartment hotel room was a good size and fully equipped with all the necessities to do your own cooking. The shower is big, and the bathtub was nice. Wonderful and friendly staff who'd always greet you with a smile when you come to and go from the hotel. The lobby area is especially cozy if you want to sit down and work on your laptop or read a book while having a sip of free coffee and/or tea that you can make yourself there. Super pet friendly, which was a bonus for us traveling with our dog. We actually regretted not staying longer had we known that from Den Haag to Amsterdam is not that far. Metro and trams are accessible to go anywhere you want. We definitely recommend this beautiful place 1000%. You will totally get your money's worth!
