Great hotel with large comfortable rooms and a fantastic view overlooking the beach. Panoramic windows giving excellent views out to sea and up and down the beach meant that the room was light spacious and airy. The hotel was well situated for all the local bars and restaurants and felt at the heart of the city.

This was by far the best hotel on our whole trip in New Zealand. A very unique and charming place with very friendly stuff. Also the breakfast was perfect. With no doubt we can recommend this hotel definitely, it is a place where you have to stay if you are in the area.

    Location, view from our room being beach front, off street guest parking, we parked our hire car directly in front of our room. Comfortable, quiet and spacious room, clean room. Clean hotel with lovely decor, reception staff very welcoming and friendly. We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay.
