    Clean, comfortable, lovely staff, lovely restaurant with delicious food served in a timely manner. The best hot water pressure for showers! The sound of the ocean and its beautiful views while relaxing on the a comfy bed. Bliss

    We got upgraded to a slightly larger cabin by the beach (Tui) as it was available and we had a 16mth old. Lots of space for the cot. Lovely cottage close to walking path to the beach. We got to see a weka just outside in the morning which was a nice suprise!

    Lovely secluded setting. Easy access to the beach to watch sunset. Rata lodge was beautifully laid out over three levels with dorm (no bunks) in the attic. Great, relaxing vibes. Comfortable bed. Personal light and charging point. Towel provided.

    Twelve days of travelling the South Island and this was the best accomodation we had! Lovely and spacious, well maintained studio with an absolutely gorgeous view!
