The bathroom was spacious with a separate large jet tub. The bed was fabulous and entire room spacious. There was even an outdoor patio. This was an unexpected pleasure. The room was spotless and seemed brand new. Great location just a few minutes walk to cafes and restaurants fronting the lake. Christine and Dave were friendly and helpful. This is an exceptional accommodation.

Warm and friendly welcome. Secure off street parking in well located premises in a quiet location. Luxurious suite with balcony having wonderful views over Lake Taupo. Very clean and comfortable unit, with an especially comfortable bed. Deserved recognition as Top Five NZ Motel and highly recommended

Location, small playground on the back yard, nice welcome at checkin. Kitchenette is very handy and the room is beautiful, comfy and has amazing vibe.

Very nice and functional unit, great view of Lake Taupo. The owner was very pleasant and we appreciate how we was able to accommodate a last minute request with our dates due to closure of the Tongariro Alpine crossing for a few days.

The Reef Resort Motel offers self-contained accommodation on the edge of the Lake Taupo. The property features an outdoor heated freshwater pool and a thermal pool with a hot tub.

Staff were wonderful and friendly, from the reception to the house cleaning. Great location also. Walking distance to Lake Taupo.
