Located in the center of Valença, Hotel Lara is an excellent base for exploring this historic town. It features modern rooms with balconies and a breakfast room overlooking the fortress.

Well, the location is perfect, right on the Camino route and across the road from the historic, mediaeval fort/ walled city. The reception staff were so helpful and friendly, offering restaurant advice and even printing something I needed. The room was very spacious, with a balcony and a wonderful bath to soak in( lovely toiletries provided too). The buffet breakfast was the best so far, with a wide range of hot and cold food choices. A very busy hotel, but obviously because it is so good.

Offering an outdoor pool, Convento San Payo is located 8 km from the centre of Vila Nova de Cerveira. The unit is set on a renovated old convent.

Perfect peace and wonderful views. Many art installations in the grounds and a very interesting museum. The hosts are very friendly, and explained the development of the convento from a ruin to the lovely building today.

Featuring a shared lounge, Casa da Capela is located in Paredes de Coura in the Norte Region region, 35 km from Golfe de Ponte de Lima.

I liked everything. it’s a family owned place and it shows; they treat every guest with care. they were there early to accommodate an earlier check in time and went out of their way to help me when I lost my purse. plus the rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. best stay of the Camino xx thank you xx

Warm and helpful staff and proprietor. Beautiful and peaceful setting, bathed in birds singing, the smell of orange blossoms, and views of distant mountains. Comfy outdoors hammocks and chairs, quiet and spacious room, great breakfast, tasty wine. My wife and I travel a lot in Northern Portugal, and this was one of the best stays we've had, and at great value.

Set in a historical property, with traditional Alto Minho architecture, Solar de Serrade features a green garden.
