wonderful welcome from the family owners, gorgeous room in an idylic spot overlooking beautiful pool and gardens. A steep but short walk down into Regua and very convenient private parking within the property with great security for the m/c we travel on. It feels like a family home full of treasure and comforts, and just a great stay and good value. Breakfast good and the whole vibe is very relaxed. Such lovely people who looked after us so well. Just a great place to base yourself to explore the Douro River valley

The property is a lovely old house full of lovely things. The room was very comfortable and the whole place was very clean. The pool was excellent and there was a jacuzzi too. The young woman who welcomed us was friendly and helpful and allowed us an early check-in. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices. It made a great base to explore the Douro and I'd advise anyone to give it a try.
