The Koliba Kamzik is situated 5 min from railway station in Stary Smokovec. There is a parking in front. The room is spaces and clean. You have a open space small kitchen. The bathroom is practical. The breakfast is served in restaurant inside of Koliba Kamzik. You have different food for breakfast. The restaurant is one of the best in Stary Smokovec, so lunch or dinner is a great option. Staff was very useful and helpful.

Located in Dolný Smokovec, Penzión Chata Valaška is a family-run pension and a good starting point for hiking in the High Tatras.

Beautiful recently renovated and clean room with a stunning view of the mountains. It has a nice two person private sauna you can reserve. The restaurant serves good Slovak food and drinks for very reasonable prices. They even have their own souvenirs, postcards and snacks for sale. But most of all it's a lovely mountain hut with the benefits of a hotel, and the perfect base for hikers who want to enjoy nature. Multiple marked trails are right outside of your doorstep! It's accessible by foot or fernicular (expensive cable car), and just outside of the business and tourism of Hrebienok if like us you don't like the skiing vibe.

Great place to stay when you’re visiting the High Tatras. The host is very friendly and helpful, we were impressed. There is also a mini market close to the place and an ATM just around 5 min drive. Also, the place is very clean and nicely decorated, amazed by the details, it really makes you feel taken care of. We will definitely stay here in the future when going back to the Tatras.

A hotel with a select atmosphere and a very nice and special host. It is very well located in relation to the areas of tourist interest. Very good breakfast with the possibility of ordering fried eggs or an omelette. The pool hall and other games are a plus. We recommend and hope for a return.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel is very well located and there are many activities to do. We also appreciated rich breakfast and wellness. Definitely worth visiting.
