Fabulously located guest house, just next to the Popradské Pleso. It is a good starting point for hikes, although many hiking routes are closed at winter time. The hotel was not accessible by car (it is an hour long walk from the nearest parking place). Although, one can order a drive to the hotel, but we didn't try this service. Our room was spatious and comfortable, with a lake view. A good restaurant and bar belongs to the accomodation. One can use the sauna and jakuzzi, which is in a good state, but for a high price. The staff was always very helpful. We had a wonderful time here.

Horsky Hotel Sliezsky Dom is located in the heart of Tatra Mountains, 1670 metres above the sea level. It offers elegant rooms with mountain views, a flat-screen TV and a minibar.

Everything vas exceptional. From food, to hotel staff - we were very pleased with everything. Like EVERYTHING. Not a thing that was remotely bad. Really great hotel, with amazing nature. The made us feel very special, even opened the bar after closing time. Everybody made sure we are all happy and satisfied.

The modern Penzion Lesna can be found in peaceful surroundings in Tatranska Lesna and features a lounge with a fireplace, a sauna, a whirlpool and free wireless internet access.

Very clean and big comfortable room. We liked breakfasts and dinners at the hotel, very tasty and variety dishes. Also we liked that there is a spa wellness with jacuzzi outside just with the mountains view, inside there is a swimming pool. As an addition on Fridays and Saturdays there are programmes for kids in swimming pool with dances, after 19:00 there is animation for kids in children zone with games and disco. Also the mountain resort is 5 minutes by car, Tatranska Lomnica

Accommodation Grand hotel Starý Smokovec is located in Starý Smokovec, 18 km from Štrbské pleso. Guests have access to a common room, paid hotel parking, a terrace and a bar.

Great location, swimming pool and very nice staff. Helpful and funny receptionist Ladislav. Beautiful views from the hotel and tasty food in the restaurant. It was our second time visiting but we will be coming back again soon.

Grandhotel Praha is located Tatranska Lomnica, at the foot of Lomnicky Peak, right in the heart of High Tatras and only 900 metres from the nearest ski lift.

the pictures on the website don't do justice at all: the hotel is MUCH better in reality than it looks like in the pictures (it was a great surprise for us) ; the style and interior decoration are amazing ; the garden and terrasse are beautiful ; definitely a place to stay for hikes in the warmer seasons ; the buffet breakfast was great ; the buffet dinner was also great (good quality and range) ; the restaurant was beautiful ; the hotel was very clean, extremely well maintained and stunning in its architecture (a classic gem) ; the staff was helpful and respectful ; the location was excellent (e.g.: close to cablecars, hiking tracks, ski slopes, town) ; the parking was big and easy to move into ; the spa & wellness facilities were excellent and clean ; the bar was cool and barmen very friendly and at your attention ; live music is played on some days and over the weekend (pianist) ; the gopass included is a real bounty for the activities around ; there is a playroom for children and a big conference room ; the room and bed were comfortable ; the bathroom was clean ; we had a very good view from our room (classic room with view) ; we could even witness a sky-tearing storm ; the hotel is so good you could spend the whole there without feeling you're missing out ; I could go on and on but a definite gem in the Tatras ; one of the best hotels I've stayed in and would definitely recommend to anyone going in the Tatras ; very good value for money ; internet was good too and possible to work from the room desk

Superb location steps away from the train station to access most trailheads. The kitchen included all the basic amenities - salt, sugar, oil, even honey! This is often overlooked by property owners but it's such an important detail. Very quiet surroundings. Great value for money. Free parking! Klaudia, the owner, was very forthcoming and accomodating. I doubt I'll ever look for a different place when traveling to Vysoké Tatry again.

Penzión Ďurčík is located in Veľká Lomnica, 500 metres from Black Stork Golf Club, and offers free WiFi access, as well as a garden with a terrace and barbecue facilities.
