A peaceful slice of paradise that was the perfect place to end our travels through Asia. This family friendly resort is set amongst lush gardens with very clean attractive bungalows, a pristine swimming pool, gorgeous beach setting with paddle boards and kayaks to use and excellent service. Simon was a wonderful host who arranged a car rental for us to see the beautiful rugged East Coast of Koh Chang. He also gave us advice on what to see and do and he arranged our taxi back to Bangkok. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of Amber Sands and my girls miss Polar and Bear, the two gorgeous resort dogs. Thank you for such a memorable stay, it was exactly like all the fabulous reviews I read prior to booking described and I really hope we get to return to this beautiful spot one day.

I loved our bungalow right by the sea, it was beautiful! As close to the sea as you can get, you can see the sea from your own bed :) Lots of glass sections connecting the room to the beach, open bathroom, mosquito net (although we didn't see any insects at all). During the day there were some people on the beach on the sun loungers, but in the morning and evening there were few people, a quiet place.

This accommodation took our breath away. I really don't understand how it can have only three stars. We've been traveling around Thailand for a month and a half, and in our experience, this place deserves a solid 4-star rating. Beautiful spacious bungalow, in a charming garden setting with a great pool. The entire resort is incredibly peaceful; you feel like you're living outside of civilization. Then you take a few steps out of the resort, and it's like you've entered the matrix. Suddenly you're on a bustling street in the middle of the city.

We also loved the Green design and how the designers and architects of The Chill were able create a calm and rejuvenating oasis in which we always felt tranquility and positive energy. Also the activities offered by the resort were nice and gave a personal touch to our already overall very positive experience. The beach is situated in a lovely bay. Very picturesque. Loved it. The pool was great and there are showers nearby. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms were clean, well situated, and gorgeous. There was a misunderstanding with our room, and the staff were very helpful and solved the problem.

Fantastic resort in a great location with lots wonderful room options. Love the new larger pool that has been pit in since our last visit. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Staff are wonderful.
