The people from Chia Yuen were so incredible friendly. They helped us with our planning, suggesting the walks and where to go. They provided an amazing tea tasting and brought us back and forth to the bus stations.

Breakfast was great, a lot to eat. Wifi was good. Lady was very welcoming. Location is not the best but for the price paid was worthed and is actually close to a trail you can do with a great sunset spot (weather permitting)

Alishan Hotel is located in Alishan. Alishan Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Alishan Railway Station. Chiayi Railway Station can be reached in 2.5 hours.

Expensive but we got a free upgrade and lovely forest views and a sensational sunset view from the rooftop. The room was a bit dated but huge and functional and comfortable. Banquet morning and night was delicious.

The place is immaculately clean. Even the curtains. The breakfast spread , mostly Chinese food, was wide and satisfying.
