Great location with a view of the lake even though it is located across the street from the lake. Beautiful, very modern home complete with elevator. Delightful and informative early morning sunrise bicycle ride around Sun Moon Lake with the owner. Highly recommend.

I absolutely recommend it, it's probably one of the best stays I've ever had, a very warm welcome. The hosts are really attentive and very responsive by message. Breakfast was a real treat every morning. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with nothing to complain about. They gave me good recommendations for visiting Sun Moon Lake which is 18~20 minutes from Yuchi by bus (a 5 minute walk from the accommodation). The town is quiet and ideal for a moment of disconnection. If I ever come back to Taiwan, I'll gladly go there again.

We booked 3 rooms at the Hu Yue Hotel in Ita Thao and all of them had fabulous views of Sun Moon Lake. The staff was very helpful during check-in and again when we had to leave early due to a typhoon. They refunded us the last night of our stay without any issues which I really appreciated since we were already stressed out about the storm and having to find other accommodations. The lake is beautiful and there are several different sights to see around the area including a nice walking trail around part of the lake. The breakfast at the hotel was a buffet style with a decent mix of Western options (ham, eggs) and Taiwanese style food.

Conveniently located near the bus terminal to & from Taichung and the ferry pier, it's the right place for backpackers. Its garden is full of lusty green plants with a couple of adorable cats. Kind staff and healthy breakfast is a plus! I could buy a one-day ferry ticket at a discounted price from the reception.

First of all, staff were really helpful and friendly, I ask for borrowed an iron machines to my room and it was delivered in there when I back to my room after out for a walk. Room presentation was excellent, hot bathtub is just on the point!! Comfortable and good value of money
