The location is amazing, and the staff/owners are really friendly. We stayed in the smallest cottage wich was obviously just a small cottage with nothing too amazing, but every detail is taken care of. Feels very comfertable. Also, the breakfast is really good. Price to value of this place is incredibly good. Stayed in much more expensive places that where much less good.

We loved our stay in the Wooden room. It was clean, spacious & with a great hot shower. Lovely breakfast as well and very nice hosts. Great location in Graskop & we went by foot to the restaurant where they made a reservation for us, great experience!

Such an awesome B&B and the breakfast was amazing!!! The hosts were super lovely. Gave us lots of recommendations on where to go too and where to eat out. The 2-bedroom house was great, everything we needed Loved the pool, bar area and pool table. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great for us to be able to use the pool. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again

The guesthouse is absolutely stunning. Trevor was super friendly and greeted us upon arrival. The room was big and was clean. The bathroom was also pretty big and very well equipped. The gardens were very beautiful and we had a mountain view. This guesthouse is very well situated for day trips to Blyde River Canyon and the surroundings Caves and waterfalls. Would 10/10 recommend this guesthouse to anyone and would definitely go back!

    The whole premise is very beautiful and calm. Small lake, hiking trails and great nature! We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was amazing. And the best are the lovely hosts who give amazing tips and the breakfast (homemade bread, jam…). The best breakfast we had in whole South Africa.

    Simple delicious breakfast. Luxury comfortable beds and bedding. Located right in the centre of the town a half a block away from tourist information as well as an excellent restaurant down the road. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful collection of artefacts, art. Lovely interior design. Fresh flowers in the bedroom.

    This was the 2nd year we spend our anniversary at Zur Alten Mine. Reiner and Walli received us very friendly and they made sure our stay was comfortable and that we got everything we needed. The Honeymoon chalet was perfect, the bed was so comfortable. Everything was very clean and the chalet was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The breakfast is a must have. We had it every morning. It was so tasty and it kept us going for most of the day. Reiner and Walli were the perfect hosts. We will definitely be going back.

    Altogether very pleasant and relaxed. Lovely setting and garden with large pond. Enjoyable forest walk. Friendly owners and staff. Log cabins attractive and comfortable and we had a wonderful view. Breakfast choice was satisfactory. We had an enjoyable time.
