We had the pleasure of spending one night at Residence William French in March. From the moment we arrived Primrose made us feel at home and did everything in her power to make our stay special. Dinner was a very romantic affair and the food was excellent. The Blue Room was stunning, every piece of furniture bespoke, large spacious bed with luxurious linen and the most magnificent views!

Located in the safest area of Simon’s Town, Penguinden - load-shedding free offers stunning views of the magic False Bay and Boulders Beach is within walking distance.

The house is a hidden gem, with very unique and creative furniture. Amanda and Walter were amazing, always looking to help me with everything I asked. I recommend them.

I only stayed for a few days, but the room was always clean. I had no problems with noise, even though I had a room that faced the hotel entrance and had direct access to the restaurants on the ground floor. The breakfasts in the restaurant were the best, everything was very clean and everyone was very helpful. I would not hesitate to return to the hotel and stay there.

Elsa is a lovely host, the room with the sea view is amazing and right before the building there is a beach to swim. We were lucky enough during our stay to have a homecooked meal with a private concert. We felt privileged to be there at just the right time. If you are staying more then a few days in Cape Town. Consider coming here and combine it with cape point, and eating fish at fishhoek or houtbay.
