Room was very big and clean with great view from the balcony. The staff was very kind. We had booked room with breakfast but had to check out early morning so they packed very soft egg pancakes for us with chocolate sauce and that was as very very kind of them :)

Perfectly positioned in the centre of Berat. Mina was so welcoming from the moment we arrived and we were very comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely amazing!

This hotel was ABSOLUTELY stunning I still can’t believe it’s right inside the castle. The room was very modest but traditional. staff was super friendly, breakfast was very typical Albanian which I appreciated. Will absolutely come back.

Amazing (and huge) breakfast both including eggs, pandcakes, bread, jam, cheese and vegetables. Very large and clean room. Really good parking facilities, and walking distance to the city centre but no noise - so over all very prefect. Would for sure come back

I had a wonderful stay here! The location is fantastic – after taking a taxi up the hill, you step out of the guesthouse and see the famous head sculpture, and in just two minutes you reach the church, which is a perfect spot for photos and enjoying the view. The family running the place is incredibly kind. Aldi’s mom prepared us a delicious homemade breakfast every morning, and the atmosphere is truly friendly and welcoming. The terrace view is absolutely stunning, both during the day and in the evening. I was traveling for work and needed a very stable internet connection, and the Wi-Fi in my room worked perfectly for online meetings and work without any problems. I would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Berat – both for the authentic family atmosphere, kind people and breathtaking location

Guva Mangalem Hotel Restaurant features air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV. The host is an exceptional person. She went beyond her duty and exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We enjoyed the evenings in the terrace. The atmosphere was warm and very welcoming.

Everything was perfect: private parking if you come by car, welcome drink with local treat at your arrival. The hotel is an old palace and the atmosphere is amazing. The room was spacious with lovely decoration. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Few minutes away by walk to the old center. Breakfast was great on a cover rooftop with lovely views. Would definitely go back there.
