It was super nice and cosy. The garden is peaceful and calming. Breakfast was tasty and the hosts were amazingly hospitable! They shared some of their fruits from the garden as well.

KRIS Guesthouse inside the castle walls was one of the best stays we had in Albania! The location is amazing, easy to find and easy to park. The guesthouse itself is a beautifully example of old architecture, with a great landscape view and plenty of places to relax and cool down during the summer time. The room was simple, but very comfortable and it even had amenities. Everyone greated us with a smile and although not everyone speaks English, it was easy to understand each other. Breakfast (with an amazing view) was very tasty and eggs were made different everyday. We highly recommend KRIS Guesthouse for your stay in Berat!
