Am mühlbach - einfach sein, mit Gemeinschaftsküche ligger i Dorfgastein og har en have, fælles opholdsområde, en terrasse og restaurant. Our stay was wonderful! The hosts were incredibly kind, the breakfasts were delicious, and above all, the atmosphere was homely. I highly recommend it!

Pretty sure this was Wes Anderson’s inspiration. Amazingly curated property with a historic charm and stylings, paying homage to the Bad Gastein Royal haydays of the early 1900’s, but with all the modern comforts and cleanliness. The staff are amazing, as are the half board breakfast and dinners. We fell in love with this property, and can’t wait to come back. Like stepping into a time capsule to 100 years ago, but with comfy beds and an amazing spa. The saunas after skiing were such a hit. Can’t recommend a hotel more! We think in a historic town like bad Gastein, it makes no sense to stay at a super modern hotel - save those for the more modern cities, and revel in the beauty and architecture of Bad Gastein and Villa Excelsior
