Our room was very cozy, spacious and extremely comfortable. Keep inind though this hotel is an old one, recently renovated, some things remained old. The view from the room is spectacular and an experience in itself. The breakfast was one of the best we ever had in any hotel. You are able to make your own fresh squizzed juice from the choice of vegetables and fruit and the food has been beautifully presented and delicious. Also the restaurant is amaxing, with spectacular view, extremely cozy. It is a very dreamy, romantic, relaxing and cozy hotel. We will definitely return just to stay in there.

Opened in 2015, Das Franzl - Bett & Brot is 800 metres from the shore of Lake Wolfgang, where guests can use a lake access with a sunbathing lawn. An absolutely amazing place to stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location was just perfect. It felt like such a unique and refreshing experience compared to regular Airbnbs. We especially loved the stunning mountain views from the room too, and our child was over the moon with the llamas and ponies—it really made the trip extra special for her. Breakfast was top notch, full of delicious choices to start the day right. Everything about our stay was memorable, and we will surely visit again. Highly recommend!

Offering panoramic views of Lake Wolfgang and the surrounding mountains, Pension Rudolfshöhe enjoys a quiet location in Sankt Wolfgang, a 5-minute walk from the centre and the lakeshore. Super clean room and super comfy bed and pillows. Florian was helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to everyone

Reiterhof Suassbauer is just 100 metres from Lake Wolfgang and 800 metres from the centre of St. Wolfgang. It offers a riding school and riding opportunities with Iceland horses. The lady was friendly and kind to us. We had a sweet night in the lovely house. The hotel is near the bus stop and you can enjoy the beautiful views of mountains and rivers. There are also two cute cats who are close to the people and some horses are in the backyard.

Located in the centre of Sankt Gilgen, Hotel-Pension Falkensteiner is 250 metres from the Zwölferhorn Cable Car and 400 metres from Lake Wolfgang. friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, near the cable car station ( also meet up spot for paragliding).

Pension Schlömmer is located 4 km from Sankt Gilgen and has a private beach access to Lake Wolfgang, just 200 metres from the house. It offers for guests a balcony in every room. Check-in and check-out went smooth and fast. The room and the house in general were neatly clean without any foreign smells. Bed and pillows were super comfy. We haven't slept that well for long time. Perfect location with 5-10 minutes walk to the public beach on the lake, which provided nice view, comfortable entrance to the water, benches. You can easily access all sightseeings in the region by car. Breakfast was the same every day, but delicious. Open buffet was available provided homemade yoghurts, various fresh fruits and berries, including even raspberry and blueberry, boiled eggs, flakes, dried fruits. In addition you get a plate of cheese and ham. Egg dishes could be cooked upon request. We enjoyed the views from a balcony. You get Wolfgangsee card, which gives you discounts for cable car, boat rides, rodelbahn and so on. Would be happy to come back.

Located right on the shore on Lake Wolfgang, Hotel & Gasthof Fürberg is 3.5 km, approximately a 45-minutes walk, from the centre of St. Gilgen. I liked everything! The location is amazing, secluded and calm but also has everything you need like food at the restaurant or 5 minutes away by car at any supermarket. I would definitely come again. Friends' groups, however, shall watch out for the showering situation 😂 it is more like a romantic getaway 😉 but I still had lots of fun with my friend there. Ah the Seilbahn is 5 minutes away aaand Hallstaat is about an hour, although I don't recommend leaving the heaven of this place and going to the touristic horror of Hallstaat.

The windows offer peaceful, breathtaking views. The SPA area is a true relaxation haven—comfortable, professional, and beautifully designed. After warming up well in the sauna, it's worth taking a quick dip in the icy waters of Lake St. Wolfgang, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. We loved the hotel’s unique style. It’s not just a place to stay but an experience we’ll always remember and want to return to.
