Guests can relax in the large garden with its panoramic mountain views. Local restaurants and cafes can be reached on foot in 15 minutes or less. The most important thing to note is the breakfast. The word "excellent" perfectly describes it. I've been to many hotels, including 5-star ones, and I can confidently say that this breakfast exceeds the quality and content significantly than announced. The location may seem inconvenient, but I strongly recommend it to all travelers by car: firstly, it's a very convenient hub from which you can easily get onto the highway, head to Salzburg, go to the mountains, or wherever you want without any detours or traffic jams, just get in and go. Secondly, you don't have to navigate through narrow and crowded streets or deal with parking problems.

Our 4-star hotel in the south of Salzburg is situated directly at the foot of the legendary 1,885-metre Untersberg mountain (cable car next to the hotel).

The city center of Salzburg is just 8 km away and is easy reachable by public transport (bus stop next to the hotel). Our location is an ideal starting points to visit all sights of Salzburg and nearby Berchtesgaden. In this traditional hotel, hospitality goes back a long way - the establishment was founded as early as 1886. After staying in hostels, this hotel felt like pure luxury! We had a huge suite with a king sized bedroom separated from the living area (double sofa bed), both with TVs. There was a good sized balcony off the living area with a close up view of the mountain and the cable car. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout the hotel. Breakfast was excellent with a very good selection of hot and cold food. The staff were all helpful and polite, and spoke very good English (although they were also very patient with my attempts at German!). The bus stops right out the back of the hotel, which takes you directly to the city and train station, as well as the zoo, Schloss Hellbrunn and various shops and restaurants in the intermediate towns.

The large spa area features an indoor pool with panoramic views, a whirlpool, and a sauna area. Massage and wellness treatments are available at a surcharge. A fitness room with high tech equipment and guided fitness and relaxation programs are offered to guests. Our room offered magnificent mountain views that made every day special. We especially enjoyed the spa, with the saunas area standing out as wonderfully tranquil and relaxing. The hotel’s location was perfect, just a short walk to the mountain lifts and very close to numerous hiking trails, which made exploring the outdoors effortless. Overall, it was an excellent stay combining comfort, relaxation, and easy access to nature.

The hotel enjoys a quiet and pleasant location close to the city centre of Salzburg. The comfortable rooms are fully equipped with many amenities, including a balcony in every room and free internet access. Everything was absolutely wonderful from the reception to the checkout. The room and the view were breathtaking, and the hotel’s location is right in the heart of nature. The restaurant was incredibly delicious, and all the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was amazing — everything was homemade. The hotel’s restaurant deserves a 10/10. I highly recommend it for relaxation and rejuvenation. I’m so happy I stayed here:)
