This is a really good hotel, excellent in every way but I will especially mention the facilities for those travelling by bicycle - it has a dedicated, locked storage room for bikes with power sockets for charging e-bikes.

Set in a large park with a private beach directly on the shore of Lake Hallstatt, Park am See offers unique accommodation in historic, restored trailers decorated with books, paintings, works of art,... Peaceful location by the lake and away from the more touristy Hallstatt. We had an amazing sleep, our host was very thorough in explaining everything so we would have a comfortable stay. As these are caravans, the doorways may be a bit small if you are a larger person, however my tall husband was able to manage passing through them sideways. Overall an amazing place and we wish we would have booked one more night

Opened in 2015, Das Franzl - Bett & Brot is 800 metres from the shore of Lake Wolfgang, where guests can use a lake access with a sunbathing lawn. An absolutely amazing place to stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location was just perfect. It felt like such a unique and refreshing experience compared to regular Airbnbs. We especially loved the stunning mountain views from the room too, and our child was over the moon with the llamas and ponies—it really made the trip extra special for her. Breakfast was top notch, full of delicious choices to start the day right. Everything about our stay was memorable, and we will surely visit again. Highly recommend!

Super clean room and super comfy bed and pillows. Florian was helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to everyone
