A funky place. With a good vibe. Pretty informal. Very kind and good willing staff (I even got checked in upon arrival, pretty early in the day, thank you, warm smile blonde lady). The "lobby" feels like a mountain sports hub with people continuously coming in or going out. The escalade concept is a nice touch both indoors and outdoors. Oh, the room, yes! You feel like in a hut with its own cave (the bath area). Mine had a sauna, too, though I haven't used it. Nothing pretentious, everything casual and coherent with the modern approach of traditional and wooden all around the hotel. I would stay there again when snowboarding or biking.

Chaletdorf ZellerSee is located in Maishofen, directly at the town limits of Zell am See and offers self-catering wooden chalets featuring a covered terrace with mountain views and free WiFi. Literally, we loved everything. The beautiful, new natural house, the warm welcome of our hosts, the location which was at the edge of the catchy forest and just at the entrance of the tunnel taking to the ski lifts just in seconds, the size and cleanness of the apartment. One more thing to mention is the heated ski chamber for each house for the snow lovers, and the nice terrace desk with BBQ for everyone. I recommend with this accommodation with no any hesitation and hope to return ourselves.

Located in the centre of Hinterglemm, Hotel Garni Wolfgang is right next to the Bergfried Ski Lift and the slopes. Amazing hotel. We love everything from owners kindness to simply great breakfast with tasty coffee ( pretty rare thing in hotels). As skiers we enjoy heated ski room and few steps to lift . Room was warm, balcony overlook ski slope, beds are comfy, private parking is available. Danke schoon!

Surrounded by green meadows, 1,300 metres from the centre of Saalbach, Hotel Thurnerhof enjoys a hillside position a 3-minute drive from the Skicircus Leogang-Saalbach Hinterglemm Ski Area. The hotel was wonderful from start to finish. Helpful friendly staff. Delicious food. Comfortable beds. The outdoor pool was amazing after a long day skiing. And being delivered and collected to the ski lifts was a great touch.

The Pension Die Dorfvilla - Includes Tauern Spa Kaprun Wellness Access 13 km away is located in the centre of the small town Maishofen, 3 km away from Lake Zell. Spacious, clean, perfect location, private underground parking, nice view from the balcony. They also provided us with the summer vouchers book to visit places around for free or with a discount! Tauern SPA was included for all days free (it’s located ~10km away). It was good to relax in pools on our way home after a long day of exploring the Alps and neighborhoods. We would stay here again! For breakfast there were eggs mostly, some bacon, variety of desserts, bread, fruit, juice. Coffee with milk was delicious! Town Clock tower will ring the bells every 15minutes. A great way to wake up at 7am!:)

Located right next to the valley station of the Leogang Cable Car, the Hotel Bacher Asitzstubn offers you a spa area, a roof terrace and fine Austrian cuisine. There are multiple things to like but the location is simply the best. The staff is nice and the food was good, especially the breakfast. Never seen so many things to choose from in a family owned hotel.

The 3-star Hotel Eder Michaela welcomes you to Vorderglemm, directly opposite the Schönleiten cable car, which operates in winter. The hotel offers a relaxing sauna and steam bath. The rooms were nice with a balcony. The staff was charming and friendly. The breakfast was good.

Hotel Edelweiss enjoys a quiet location in the centre of Hinterglemm, only a short walk from the cable cars and ski lifts. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. I like everything in this hotel, small hotel with a good food and great staff :-)
