Overlooking the surrounding vineyards, the 4-star hotel Weinrefugium Brolli is located 5 km from the centre of Gamlitz. The room was spacious and comfortable, the balcony offered a stunning view, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The spa was also wonderful – the perfect place to relax. Everything was just perfect, and I would love to come back!

It's a small, cozy hotel set above a vineyard, with a peaceful view over the valley. If you’re lucky, you might even spot deer running through the vines. Breakfast is excellent, with a nice variety of local products. The freshly made scrambled eggs were especially delicious. We also tried the local wine and really enjoyed it. We’ve stayed in both a room with a terrace and one with a balcony. The room with the terrace was larger and more modern, but both were cozy, with spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds. After-hours check-in is available, with the key waiting in a mini safe. Parking is available as well. The staff is friendly, especially the woman who welcomed us at breakfast. She was warm and attentive to every guest, and it made me wish I spoke German just to be able to chat with her more. The region is beautiful and charming, and we’ll definitely be back!

Set in the centre of the wine village Gamlitz along the South-Styrian Wine Road, a 3-minute walk from the castle, Hotel am Marktplatz - Landgasthof Wratschko - Gamlitz offers fine Styrian and... Although I’ve stayed just for 1 night passing through on my journey I was upgraded to a nice room which was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. They also allowed me to have breakfast earlier in order to leave - very rich breakfast and nice restaurant I’ve experienced for dinner. Overall I can highly recommend this place, wish I’d have had more time to explore - next time :)

Dating back to the 12th century, Burg Deutschlandsberg is located amid the rolling hills of South-Western Styria and offers you modern rooms with antique pieces of furniture, gourmet cuisine and a spa... For me it’s an ideal place! There’s huge parking. The hotel itself is fantastic, with a wonderful room that was impeccably clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming, providing a heartfelt hospitality that made us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, accompanied by an amazing view that made each morning special. The location of the hotel is simply magical, offering breathtaking views of the vineyards. It’s a peaceful and serene spot where you can take walks or simply sit and admire the beauty of nature.

The hotel is very nice and clean everywhere, including the corridor and lift. The stuff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent! I really recommend this hotel and also the town, wonderful location.

TOSO was perfect for our needs & the other couple we travelled with. Stephen was the most wonderful host and we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The breakfast were truly awesome with a wide selection of foods and beverages. We are looking forward to coming back and staying longer when we can from Canada!

Ewitsch 13 - Hotel Garni is located at the entrance to the South Styrian Wine Road, a 3-minute drive from Ehrenhausen. Breakfast was a delicious feast! Views and location were amazing. We enjoyed the pool, modern decor and up to date bathroom. Hotel owner Christian and his mom made us feel very welcome. Bed was very comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean!

Situated 2 km from Gamlitz’ centre, Weingut Skoff Original offers rooms with free WiFi and a balcony with panoramic views of gently rolling hills and vineyards. Clean, quiet rooms in a scenic location. Breakfast on the patio had a beautiful view of the vineyards. Free parking onsite. Air conditioning, which was important since we were there for a wedding and it was very hot.
