This 4-star superior hotel is located in the heart of Traunkirchen and offers two restaurants, a spa area with an infinity pool and lake access with a private swimming area. The location is amazing - the views are so picturesque! The staff are very nice and friendly, and even helped us fix the wheelchair when my wheel fell off! They give you good advice on what to see in the area and coupons. From Traunkirchen you can easily reach all other lakes (if you want to). The new spa on the top floor is luxurious and breathtaking. Breakfast is very good! Coffee is great. Loved that you can install apps on the TV, so I could watch a live TV channel from home and watch the news. So cool! Fast Wi-Fi.

Located in the centre of Altmünster, this hotel was renovated in March 2017 and is only 200 metres from the Traunsee lake and the promenade. The hotel is very nice. The apartament was spacious and nice. The location is near the promenade. Breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Offering panoramic lake and mountain views, Seehotel Schwan is located directly on the main square in the centre of Gmunden, only a few steps away from the shore of Lake Traun. We liked tremendously the view on the lake from our bedroom and to be able to walk along the lake. The staff was friendly and the room very inviting with its balcony.
