A straight 10! It’s a lovely cottage where every room radiates warmth and cosiness. It has everything ( and more) that you need. It’s clean, spacious, quiet and just a wonderful place to spend days away from the hustle ans bustle of the city. I highly recommend!

The room was so clean and the view is absolutely amazing. Was even able to see a starry night as the weather was nice. Would definitely come back if I come to the Blue Mountains again!

Housed in a building from 1902, Kurrara Historic Guest House features free WiFi. It is 15-minutes’ walk from the famous Three Sisters and 10 minutes from many restaurants in the Katoomba Town Centre. The tea selection was out of this world! Gorgeous room and lovely hosts.

Free WiFi is available at the High Mountains Motor Inn in Blackheath. All rooms feature an en suite bathroom, air-conditioning, a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Staff were great, helped with site seeing and gave recommendations on resteraunts etc.

200 meters from Katoomba Train Station, The Carrington offers elegant accommodation in a heritage-listed refurbished manor. Our two days in the Blue Mountains unfortunately fell victim to the Northeaster coming in - visibility was less than 100m, sometimes even the other side of the street seemed foggy and it rained cats and dogs. So we were very happy about this cozy hotel! It is historic and well-preserved (but of course with all modern amenities you need in the rooms). Fun to explore the different rooms, there's a nice bar and somewhere they have hidden away a brewery it seems. Oh, and the dining room... Great - had a good breakfast there (we had enjoyed dinner in the other brewery in town). The room was a bit smaller than expected, but for one night it was ok. It was quiet and we slept very well. There is a new parking garage next to the hotel - only disadvantage is, that you are exposed to the elements when you walk over there.

Perched on the edge of a ridge, 300 metres from the heart of Katoomba’s town centre, this 4.5-star hotel offers panoramic views of the World Heritage Blue Mountains. OMG - I love this hotel! From the minute we arrived, we were so warmly greeted by staff and it was just fantastic til the moment we left! Old fashioned (but refurbished!) hotel right near the centre of town... five minutes walk if you take the pathway. The room was huge and fabulous! It even had a couch... Friendly and helpful staff Room was quiet Beds were so comfy No elevators but stairs are fine Dinner with a view and food was delicious and it was so nice just being able to walk up to your room after your meal... But we didn't - because there was also a proper bar with a proper piano man playing music all night long - so wonderful! We listened right to the end. We have never done this before and had no idea how enjoyable this can be. Lovely huge lounge Plenty of parking on site Competitive rates with the other properties in Katoomba - so happy we chose to stay here as was a just an all-round experience like what you see in the old movies!
