Offerring free WiFi and BBQ facilities, Grapevines Boutique Accommodation is 2 minutes’ drive from Hunter Valley Gardens. It’s a family-run-in business, so we got a very warm welcome like some part of them. The owner is so helpful and friendly giving us lots of useful local information, but very respectful of our private time. The location is great in the heart of the vineyard zone, easy to take a short drive to many cellar doors and wine houses. Just some units of property, we didn’t need to stand in line for checking in and out. The room is spacious and spotless with cosy decoration. There is a small succulent and rose garden in front of the room, and panoramic views only some steps beyond. Waking up in the early morning, we enjoy a fantastic stroll through the vineyard, snapshots of kangaroos and floating balloons in the sky.

Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley with views of the Brokenback Ranges, Peppers Hunter Valley - formerly Grand Mercure offers self-contained apartments with free WiFi. We booked a two bedroom apt and it was great. Spacious and clean. We stayed on the second floor and we could see the golf course. Very pleasant to wake up to the sounds of birds chirping. The swimming pool was good and they had a whirl pool. We had a garage where we could park our car and it was safe.

Boasting free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and free BBQ facilities, Wine Country Villas is located in the heart of the Hunter Valley. We loved the location. We bbq'd and sat on the deck listening to the birds and watching the kangaroos. We only saw staff as we were leaving. Keyless entry was brilliant, and we felt like it was our own piece of paradise. The only criticism is that you need to be very good friends with your travel companion as there was nothing but a sliding door between the toilet and the bedroom/villa.

Everything Fantastic stay,we loved the tranquility of Beltana Villas..The birdsong at dawn was spellbinding...everything in the Villas was perfect John and Trish left no stone unturned to ensure the guests were entirely happy, I wish we could have stayed longer..

As like for other wine regions we tried to find a hotel with a winery in walking distance. This one is about 500m from Bimbadgen Estate, which features a high quality restaurant, a cellar door and a pizzeria, and we made use of all of that. We had a friendly welcome at H Boutique Hotel (also by some roos, which enjoyed the rain), and got a big room, in fact it's an apartment with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room and a terrace. There's of course ample parking. Next to the reception there's an interesting shop / bar / cellar door... don't know what to call it, but we enjoyed a nice cheese and wine tasting there, and the next day a breakfast too (it's not open every day though, but we were lucky). It was perfect for the rainy day we had on arrival. Apart from the winery you can walk to, you're very close by car to every other Hunter Valley attraction and winery.

If you want a walking wine tour area, this is the perfect spot for a few days. The peace and calm were welcomed and though we didnt have time for it, the golf course looked great also.

Just a 2 minutes' drive from the Pacific Highway, Sleepy Hill Motor Inn offers free high-speed WiFi and free on-site parking. Excellent motel, well presented, clean , quiet and very comfortable. We stayed two nights and used the laundry and the swimming pool.

Pokolbin Village Estate offers a variety of accommodation options suitable for couples, families and groups. Great location, and friendly staff. Our room was perfect for our two night stay was comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool was a great addition and we enjoyed relaxing in the sun. Great facilities on site
