The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. Felt really 'homely'. Staff and location perfect. Would recommend it unreservedly.

Set on over 140 acres of native forest and boasting a private beach, Thala Beach Nature Reserve is an Eco-friendly wildlife retreat. Loved the privacy of the bungalows. It was peaceful and serene.

Mandalay Luxury Beachfront Apartments is a relaxing, 5-star retreat in Port Douglas, within easy walking distance of the wonderful restaurants in and around the Marina Mirage and Macrossan Street. Fabulous place to stay. Spacious, block out curtains in bedrooms, lovely balcony with comfy chairs. It was fab being across the Rd from the beach as you could hear the ocean. The pool also looked out on beautiful vegetation. My family loved the tennis court. Also 15 min walk to town. There are no lifts so ask for ground floor apartment if don’t like stairs.

Just a 1 hour drive from international Cairns airport, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas boats a prime location as the only beachfront property to the Famous Four Mile Beach. Staff were too professional and lagoon was very nice and the lobby was fantastic

Very good value, so peaceful, lovely room. Short drive to Port Douglas with lovely restaurants. Easy after hours check in.

Featuring an outdoor heated pool and BBQ area with outdoor seating and tropical gardens, this hidden gem of a motel is just a 12-minute walk from Four Mile Beach. The Lazy Lizard exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s very well maintained and clean and staff was very helpful.
