Highland Cabins and Cottages at Bronte Park offer self-contained accommodation in Bronte. Free private parking is available on site. This place is located in such a remote area that we couldn’t help but wonder, “How could there be accommodation out here?” (Though, that’s quite common in Tasmania!) We stayed here for one night on our way from Hobart to Lake Dove, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Despite being in the middle of nowhere, it wasn’t scary at all—probably because it was fully booked. We were warmly welcomed by the very kind Gloria, and you could feel the owner’s thoughtful touches throughout the property. There was a washing machine inside our unit, and a high-performance dryer available in the shared laundry. The fireplace worked wonderfully, keeping us warm and cozy, and at night, we were lucky enough to see the Milky Way. It was a night we will long for, for the rest of our lives.

Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village offers self-contained accommodation, nestled in a rainforest setting with native wildlife throughout the property. We really enjoyed our stay here. The setting is gorgeous and the room is comfortable and well equipped. The food in the restaurant was delicious and all the staff were absolutely excellent with their service and communication. Unfortunately we didn’t get all their names but Ethan was one! Highly recommend staying here.

Situated on the banks of the Inglis river, The Waterfront Wynyard offers a range of accommodation types in their motel units, all north-facing, with views across the waterfront precinct. It was a great location right on the river and pretty well walk every where the room was comfortable and love the fact about the pillows

Waratah on York is located in a restored Victorian mansion, just 5 minutes’ walk from Launceston city centre. It features free off-street parking and Wi-Fi internet access. Super clean. Great staff. Overall a beautiful spot in a great city.

Cradle Mountain Highlanders offers secluded cabins on the edge of Cradle Mountain National Park. It provides convenient, self-catering facilities and is a 5-minute drive from the park’s entrance. I love how cozy the cottages are.
