The hotel is located in the center, heart of Sarajevo, at Bascarsija. We were afraid that we couldnt sleep due to the city sound but the room and place was quiet and peaceful! The hotel and room was like Bascarsija, old but new, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail—from the quality of the bedding to the thoughtful amenities—showed a real commitment to guest comfort. What really stood out, though, was the attention to detail and the genuine care from the staff. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, and their warmth truly enhanced the overall experience. And also when we checked out and returned a couple of days later, the staff was so warm, helpful and wonderful! I will absolutely be returning every year and I recommend Old Hotel Sarajevo to anyone looking for a comfortable, elegant, and welcoming place to stay. A five-star experience all the way!
