Within a 7-minute walk from the centre, Péniche d'hôtes MS Elisabeth offers rooms decorated with wooden elements and fitted with a private bathroom. Citadelle de Namur is 50 metres away. I normally never take the time to write reviews but I feel it is my duty to do so on this stay. Having worked myself in hospitality for many years, experienced top notch properties all over the world with excellent service. The boat is located at the center of Namur, everything is just a stone throw away. You can easily walk within minutes to the center, to the citadel, to the casino (fun at night time). Bernard, the host (I hope I remember his name correct), is very kind and social, his Flemish is cute! He arrives in the morning to prepare your breakfast but then leaves so you can just hang around the boat and do your thing, leaves you to your privacy. Before arrival Bernard asked if there was a special occasion for our stay, he did the effort to get a bottle of champagne as it was my partner birthday - at no cost. Breakfast is amazing, ask for boiled eggs and he brings in this thing that will make the perfect crack in your egg so you can spoon it out. I give this stay, the MS Elisabeth - Péniche Hôtel and Bernard my top rating!

This boutique hotel offers elegant rooms in a traditional stone-built house from the 19th century, a 10-minute drive from Dinant. Hadelin features a peaceful garden with a terrace. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us when we arrived early. They parked our car in the garage for us and put our perishables in their fridge. When we came back later to check-in and needed our bags from the car he took us down and helped us get our luggage to our room. This is probably the best hotel staff that I have ever met.
