The owners of the place provide very good information on hikes and are just lovely! The location is good, close to a good bakery and the main street. Maybe 15 min walking from the bus terminal. I stayed in the shared room. All the beds have curtains. Bathroom with a good hot shower. I would for sure stay there again.

The accommodations are large with great bathrooms. Everything very well cleaned up! Staff is very polite and supportive! Good breakfast. There is also a good menu for lunch or dinner. My wife had lunch and she said it was delicious. I’d certainly stay at Vale das Araras again!

Located just 500 metres from Alto Paraiso de Goiás’ centre, Pousada Recanto da Grande Paz features a spa offering massages and holistic therapies and an outdoor pool. WiFi and parking are free. Really nice place, but the rooms are much smaller than they look in the pictures, and the internet barely works. There was also unbearable sewage smell coming from the toilet for three nights. Staff is very friendly and helpful, though.
