Black Rock Oceanfront Resort offers a spectacular escape for storm watching, whale watching, beach adventures, or romantic retreats, any time of year. Rooms were nicely appointed and the views from our deck and from the restaurants were amazing. The building itself is beautiful and the food was exceptional too.

Featuring historic décor, this adult-only Victoria accommodation was originally built in 1930. A gourmet breakfast is served each morning. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. The Victoria Clipper is 2 km away. Loved the very thoughtfully appointed room. It set the bar high for the continuation of our travels. Breakfast was fabulous and parking worked for us too.

Select rooms include a fireplace and a sofa bed. Excellent staff who all went out of their ways to attend to all our requests and beyond. We were offered tea coffee and use of bathroom facilities on early arrival and again until 10pm when we had to wait for our 2am flight. The food at the restaurant was very good and the restaurant manager was courteous and super attentive which made the meal that much more enjoyable. We loved the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. The hotel is centrally located but very quiet and cosy.

Great location, quiet and clean and comfortable Communication from the inn was excellent.Didn’t try the hot , but the sauna was outstanding after a long drive.

Everything was wonderful. Friendly, helpful staff. We loved the size of our room, fjord view, jetted tub in the room, nice to relax and watch a movie. Modern bathroom. Nice welcome gift box with Christmas treats. We also had a pleasant dinner at the restaurant and our server Bella was lovely!
