Black Rock Oceanfront Resort offers a spectacular escape for storm watching, whale watching, beach adventures, or romantic retreats, any time of year. We stayed here during our honeymoon and the staff, especially Amy was absolutely amazing. We’ve got an upgrade to a room with a breathtaking view and a sweet surprise with a card. The room was very clean, big and comfortable. We also tried the Big Beach Lounge and the food there was exceptional good and Libby our waitress there was such a friendly and lovely person. Thanks to the awesome staff for making our stay in your resort so special.

The Victoria Clipper is 2 km away. Clean and comfortable, delicious complimentary breakfast and evening soups. The staff were lovely. The Christmas decor felt very festive!

Select rooms include a fireplace and a sofa bed. The room was spacious, comfortable, and so cozy with the fireplace. This hotel has one of the best and biggest bathrooms! Great location near Yaletown, but not so close that it's loud or busy, and lovely brunch at the Cafe next door. Very clean, great outdoor pool on the 5th floor patio, and super comfortable.

The bed and breakfast also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The hosts were so nice! Beautiful location, wonderful cabins (although the floors and doors were a bit squeaky), super cozy atmosphere. It's clear the family loves what they do, we loved the breakfast and dinner (served on our porch directly) and really enjoyed talking to Tarn about wildlife, the farm animals and edible plants on the included tour in the morning. Off grid location, but then we were already in Wells Gray to explore, which was great.

The road to Ucluelet was closed on the day of our arrival. We were regularely updated by mail about the situation.
