Incredibly beautiful property, very quiet and nice view on the lake. The kitchen has everything we needed for cooking, breakfast on the terrace is just great. The city of Saguenay ist approx. 10-15 min. away by car with lots of restaurants and supermarkets. This place is a huge recommondation for all travellers.

I'm not a dog lover but was attracted by the price, location and great reviews. Incredible place. Very clean for starters - no dog hairs, e.g., on the inside, which I had been a bit worried about. And to my surprise I really loved THESE dogs - magnificent, strong animals but also well-behaved and gentle. They're obviously well-trained and well-treated. I almost didn't go on the morning walk, and that would have been a big mistake - it turned out (like for many people!) to be a highlight of my trip. I'd love to go back in the winter for the sledding. Also, as all reviewers rightly note, the owners are very friendly.

The breakfast was super tasty using local products and recommendations where to dine in Alma were just what we had in mind We highly recommend Almatoit and would definitely stay again stay again

Chateau Murdock Gite tem uma piscina exterior, jardim, um salão partilhado e terraço em Saguenay. O café da manhã foi muito bem servido. O casal que nos recebeu é simpático e prestativo. A casa é imponente e bem decorada. Gostei da sala onde podemos sentar para ler um livro e tomar um chá. Tudo estava muito limpo e, como temos que tirar o sapato na entrada, fiquei o tempo todo andando de meias brancas . Incrível como as meias continuaram muito brancas , ou seja, o chão estava impecável.

Tinha uma grande piscina interna que infelizmente não tivemos tempo de aproveitar. Bom restaurante anexo.

They accommodated our late check-in and were very communicative. The room was clean, comfortable and worth the price. The back patio was beautiful and the entire property is relaxing and peaceful!
