Built in 1586, the Gasthof zur Waag in Bad Zurzach is located close to the Rhine River, on the edge of the Black Forest. This was a lovely hotel in an old building with a beautiful courtyard. Our room was quite comfortable. Our hosts and all staff were so accommodating and helpful and the food was exceptional for dinner and breakfast! It was close to the train station to take a day trip to Zurich. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

The Mercure Hotel Krone is situated below Lenzburg Castle, on the edge of the Old Town. It offers traditional yet creative cuisine and free parking in the garage. Breakfast was good. Good selection of breakfast items. Staff were very friendly and cleanliness was excellent. Thank you very much.
