Newly built in 2014, The Passage in Basel is a centrally located design hotel featuring a sauna, a fitness centre, free WiFi access and air-conditioned rooms. The Basel SBB Train Station is 850 metres away. It was clean. Staff was helpful. Location was great and close to the Christmas Market and public transportation.

All rooms have a cable TV, a large work desk and a free minibar with soft drinks and beer. Lovely hotel with very helpful and friendly stuff. The location is great, almost next to bus/tram stop. Handy free Basel card - for free public transport and discounts for some museums. I had a room with balcony, so spent my evening there with a nice view.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. The accommodation enjoys a central and very quiet location close to the university and the cantonal hospital. The hotel has a small garden and free WLAN. Room size and bathroom were excellent. Breakfast had great choices. Staff were very friendly.

Just 150 metres from Basel Main Train Station and the airport shuttle bus and only 10 minutes' ride by public transport to Basel Messe convention centre, Metropol Hotel is a modern non-smoking hotel in the centre of Basel . We stayed at Hotel Euler and were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Convenient location.
