Great waterfront hotel. We had a nice room with a beautiful view of the lake, large bathroom, clean comfortable beds. Staff are wonderful! Best breakfast and fabulous dining area, beautifully decorated. Short train ride from Zurich HB main station to Meilen station, then you can walk to hotel (10min. walk) or take the 925 bus just outside the station to the bus stop just before the hotel (Obermeilen stop). Quiet area with not too many stores or restaurants but easy enough to get a train wherever you want to go.

Located in Thalwil’s centre, Hotel Sedartis offers rooms with a balcony or a terrace and free Wi-Fi. The room was very stylish, spacious and super clean. The bed is King size with 2 separate duvets which is good because you didn't have to fight for it. It was warm but not too warm, there's underfloor heating in the very stylish bathroom. Location perfect for people getting off train, come out the station and it's literally on your right 2mins away. There's a little convenience store right next to station. We never ate in we went to Ruen Thai which was only a short walk away maybe 7mins. Food was delicious. No tea making facilities asked at reception for a kettle had to go back down 1hr later and ask again that was the only negative it was perfect and not too noisy considering so close to train station.

The Hotel Restaurant Rössli is located directly at the shore of Lake Zurich, between Pfäffikon and Rapperswil. Free private outdoor parking and free Wi-Fi are available. The first day of our Swiss journey began at this very hotel, and we were delighted that our very first impressions of the country started here. The place felt truly magical—just like Switzerland itself. The hotel is located on a peninsula, and we were given rooms overlooking the lake. Waking up to such a view, it took us a moment to realize we were not still dreaming. Since we arrived late at night, the staff had thoughtfully prepared envelopes with our names and room keys waiting for us—every detail carried a sense of care. Breakfast could be described in two words: refined simplicity. Everything essential for a moderate yet fulfilling start to the day was there. We loved the hotel so much that on our way back, we stayed there again. Each room had a small refrigerator with two beers inside, priced at 5 Swiss francs. And, by the way, in every room, tucked inside a drawer, there was a Bible. We travelled by car, for which there was free parking here.

The Staff Are Amazing , great and helpful. The rooms are very tidy and comfortable. Nice Lake view and services.
