The family-run Seehotel Gotthard in Weggis on the shore of Lake Lucerne, 25 km from Lucerne, offers 2 restaurants, a pizzeria, a bistro and rooms with scenic views and free WiFi. My stay at SeeHotel Gotthard was wonderful. The lake view is simply stunning, the staff are friendly and professional, and the rooms are clean and well-equipped. The breakfast was delicious and varied. We will definitely stay here again!

Opening in December 2016, Boutiquehotel Anker Luzern is located in a historical building in the centre of Luzern, right on the Pilatusplatz square. This hotel is absolutely superb! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the most wonderful lady (wished I remember her name) who made us feel so welcome and was very helpful. The breakfast was exquisite, offering a delicious variety of options to start the day perfectly. The interior design is truly original, with a unique and stylish touch that adds to the charm of the place. And the rooms? Just wow—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We got an upgrade - we were on the sixth floor and though our windows were facing the street, we didn't hear anything during the night. We only wish we could have stayed longer! The location is also fantastic—just a short walk from both the train station and the old town, making it super convenient for exploring. One highlight of our trip was dining at a restaurant recommended by the hotel. We wanted to go out for dinner, and it didn’t disappoint—on the contrary, it turned out to be an unusual and memorable experience! Thank you for making our stay so special and giving us such wonderful memories. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. One can hardly ask for more! Excellent hotel. We will return.
