Especially breakfast, room was also ok but I didn't find any channel in English or French in the TV. I was looking at the Olympics and it was ok in German this time.

Free WiFi is available. We love this boutique hotel to pieces. It is not the first time we stayed here and it's definitely not gonna be the last. The staff is super-friendly and helpful. We had a big room overlooking the main pedestrian street. The room was clean, nicely decorated and quiet. The bed was very comfy. We appreciated the coffee and tea facilities in the room. We also appreciated a lot the bar on the ground floor that served very good beer and very good flammkuchen until relatively late. Parking is very easy to find if one follows the hotel instructions. We positively regretted that we only booked one night.

This 3-star Murtenhof & Krone hotel in a Medieval patrician residence in the old town of Murten features a terrace with a wonderful view of Lake Murten.

The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the train station and is situated at the entrance to the old town, directly beside the castle. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was attentive and helpful. Dinner was very good. Location was perfect as we were driving and wanted to be in the old town, but have parking.
