This is an amazing hotel. The room is beautiful and comfortable, all staff are attentive, and the food is incredible! Really worth it! Big parking place, dogs were accepted and could join in the restaurant.

Housed in a historic building first mentioned in 1396, where such famous people as Casanova and Goethe once stayed, the Hotel Adler enjoys a central location in the Old Town of Murten. Free WiFi is available. Fantastic room, very western in the sense that the bathroom was huge and the mattress topper actually created a real king bed feel, versus just two twins shoved together. Private terrace was a huge plus for morning coffee. Great craft soaps/shampoo. I look forward to staying at the Adler again!

This 3-star Murtenhof & Krone hotel in a Medieval patrician residence in the old town of Murten features a terrace with a wonderful view of Lake Murten.

The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the train station and is situated at the entrance to the old town, directly beside the castle. Breakfast was superb. The variety and quality was excellent and the views from the breakfast area were spectacular. Best breakfast of our holiday (across multiple accommodations).
