One of my favorite hotel stays ever. The hotel itself is gorgeous - out of a fairytale. The staff was amazing. The Salavaux/Vully area is so special. We rented a vespa from the hotel and drove around the countryside - and the hotel packed us a picnic lunch of cheese, ham, bread and wine. The staff helped us find the best wineries nearby. We had an incredible dinner at the hotel our first night. I couldn't say enough amazing things about our stay here.

This 3-star Murtenhof & Krone hotel in a Medieval patrician residence in the old town of Murten features a terrace with a wonderful view of Lake Murten. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was attentive and helpful. Dinner was very good. Location was perfect as we were driving and wanted to be in the old town, but have parking.
